Evaporation and boiling are both processes where liquids convert to vapor, but they have some major differences.
Evaporation is when water converts from a liquid to a gas in the atmosphere due to the heat of the sun.
Boiling is when water boils at 212 degrees Fahrenheit or 100 degrees Celsius. Differences between evaporation and boiling include how much energy it takes, what happens during conversion, and what happens afterward.
